Alkisti-Irene Malamis is an attorney at law, member of the Athens and the Cyprus Bar Associations. As a lawyer she represents clients in anti-counterfeiting actions and litigates before the courts in IP matters, including on trademarks, designs, patents, copyright and geographical indications. She also prosecutes IP rights before the local and European authorities, advises on local and worldwide IP strategy and protection and in respect of licensing, technology transfer agreements and IP-related contracts. She is the author of chapters on Greek law and practice in several international law guides on TMs, patents, copyright, art law, GIs and anti-counterfeiting.
