Geoff is Intangible Assets Director at Stobbs. He qualified as a Registered Trade Mark Attorney in 2010. Geoff is experienced in filing and prosecuting trade mark applications in the UK, Europe and internationally, as well as in clearance searching, handling contentious matters and conducting general trade mark portfolio management and development for a wide range of clients. He has experience of hearings at the UKIPO. Geoff is heavily involved with internal training at Stobbs and is a case law geek. Before trade marks, he worked in bookshops, publishing and film post production, at the BBC, as a diary secretary for a government minister, as an apple picker in New Zealand and in a hot air balloon crew in France. Geoff spends a lot of his time outside of (and sometimes during) work running - mostly after his wife and two young children but also up and down Lake District fells with his brother, trying to bring down his marathon pb and dabbling in duathlons and ultramarathons.
