John is head of Osborne Clarke's International AI Service line. He was formerly Chair of the ITechLaw Association's AI Committee and is an advisory board member to the UK Parliament's All Party Parliamentary Group on Artificial Intelligence. He also sits as an expert in the University Of Durham's Bias in AI Research Group. He is a widely acknowledged practitioner, commentator and writer in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, having authored two editions of a practitioner's guide to AI and the Law, as well as editing a comprehensive ethical guide to Responsible AI usage and a Green Paper on the forthcoming EU AIA on behalf of ITechLaw. John's practice is focussed on many global innovators in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
